I was intrigued by the exhibit and the idea that textiles can speak to each other and that they tell so much about a culture. I actually have a different reason for posting here today however.I am doing an anthropology study on african culture,but instead of textiles I'm looking at the impact of music, more specifically drumming, on African society. I was hoping to contact someone who may be able to help me narrow my topic or give some suggestions as to where I can find information on this topic and I was directed to this blog and possibly the curator Catherine Hale. If any one has any ideas I would appreciate them
